hi have a look at kramer's posts on the same sort of bother we ended up swapping the pick ups from my working mk2 to his ar 1 at a time. that solved his problem. it only cost him around £20. a friends working bike may help

my mk2 did that a while back & i panicked , drained the oil & checked it was still the same as when filled amount just about. put it back in & no more leaks from the pipe. also no oil came out of the check screw when i put oil in god knows why & the bike still runs mint. i know its no help to you bu...

i'd tighten spindle 1st (cos the pinch bolts when tightened should stop the spindle turning) then pinch bolts corner to corner. not that it should matter about the pinch bolts it's just the way i'd do it.

as we all know on a mk2 it's in the frame but mine leeks from the sensor (par for the course me thinks) but i've seen a ar 2 stroke oil tank. so i'm wondering has any 1 put a ar tank on a mk2 & what if any changes or problems where found thanks in advance

i know it won't help but it would make me feel better. i would go to the local paper & fill in the complaint forms to make as much fuss as possible as it wouldn't cost anything but what have you got to lose ???
