Re: Clutch slipping
I've had EBC in mine for years no issue. Clutch dragged but that was because the basket was toast. Fitted a new basket clutch still dragged checked the EBC plates that I had fitted a long time before and found the tangs had hooked to suit the worn basket. Fitted a new set of EBC plates never been be...

Re: More peak distric protests
If people do nothing else just send a quick e mail to the consultation on Long Causaway and Roych as listed in the copy and paste below. As Mike says numbers count in this type of thing. Some time ago the Isle Of Man had a web poll on vehicle rights. There was a huge majority for maintaining Vehicle...
Re: Whine
It is unlikely to get so bad as to cause any damage for a long time.
It's just the noise it makes that worries people.

Re: Whine
There is a good chance that the balance shaft itself will have some chatter marks on the bearing face. I know mine did so i fitted a new shaft along with both bearings only for the same thing to happen a couple of thousand miles later. I ended up disconnecting the balance shaft. That is leaving it i...

Re: CRM Reliability
Had a chat with the chaps at Leisuretrail some time ago and they were saying that they knew of CRM's running with over 45,00 miles without a rebore or piston. I personally think it is a hell of an achievement to get the speedo drive to work for that long. God knows how many miles mine has done but i...

Re: Big Mistake
Get the 300 Rich but hang on to the CRM.
Got an 08 berg and there is no doubt that it is better than the CRM in so many ways but it is still nice to jump on the CRM from time to time and rediscover why it is "the best trail bike ever".

Re: Llangollen rideout.
Shame I'm on holiday then.
I often lead rides in the area. After your previous post I was just thinking it was time for another CRM smoking day.
After the holidays maybe, if there is any interest.
Have a great ride

Have a look at this thread

Your best bet is to get the part no. book then try a local and order the part no from a local or US based Honda dealer.
If you have no luck there Lesuretrail in the UK are very good.

Re: inner tube
Ah not so fast. Just looked at a couple of tyre fitting videos and they seem to advise tightening the rim lock at the pressure used to get the bead to sit. I suppose everyone starts getting their own little ways but its always worth listening to professionals http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8-1aAc1jPU
