Are the PV cables definitely connected the right way round?? See if you can whip the cover off and show us a video of the PV movement whilst revved.

I'd say it sounds to me like an intermittent electrical fault, either a partially broken ignition wire or poor earth somewhere? Have you tried bypassing the kill switch? It's decent as they lay out a different track each month, usually quite more technical than this one.

It's not actually close to me, good few hours drive, but worth it.

I went to Cowm Quarry at the weekend again, they had a WOR event on in the morning and you could ride the track in the afternoon. Pretty tame track, but not much let off, and lots of slippy small rocks!!
