Re: Central Wheels -unbelievable!

I must've got lucky with them. Ordered some rims and spokes and was told the spokes would have to be made as a special order. Strangely enough they turned up next day via a courier; so they must've found a set kicking around. The chap who built my wheels deals with them a lot and says they are a nig...

Cheers, I've found some aftermarket brackets that bolt to the triple clamps.

Re: Front indicator mounting question

Thanks. Yeah, I was aware of the relay and resistance issues with led indicators, I was really looking for some tips on how to physically mount them at the front.

Front indicator mounting question

My mk3 doesn't have any indicators, so I was considering buying some aftermarket LED units. As the oem indicators mount on brackets I was wondering what would be the best plan of action for mounting aftermarket ones (which seem to have the traditional bolt on arrangement)?

Cheers in advance.

Re: Mk3 gear lever

The CR uses the same shaft size as the crm but the lever will need to be modified to the correct angle to suit the crm. Hence why I chose a cheap steel lever which could be reshaped with a bit of heat as opposed to an aluminium one.

Re: Mk3 gear lever

The cr one was cheap, and now it's at the correct angle it actually seems to be an improvement over the standard part in terms of size.

Re: Mk3 gear lever

Well, I took the plunge and ordered a steel 89-01 version and it fits. Unfortunately the angle of the pedal is completely wrong but I managed to bend it into some kind of usable shape with a bit of heat and brute force.

Mk3 gear lever

After searching the forum I've discovered that the CR500 gear lever fits our bikes. However, there appears to be two different fitments available: 84-88 or 89-01. Would anyone who has done this mod be so kind to let me know which one fits before I place an order!

Cheers.

Cheers fellas. I'm a bit of a tart at heart and really like supermoto look but I'll have a look into the tyres you mentioned.

Hello...

Evening gentleman. I thought I'd sign up as I'm going to be looking for a CRM in the near future.

I've always been a 2 stroke fan, but I currently own an NC30. I primarily want a CRM as a commuter, so I'd like to give it the supermoto treatment at some point.
