Didn't take too long to drain the oil as there was next to nothing left in the one side
This was the first upside down forks I have worked on so it made the job far easier than I had expected.

If the wheel bearings have gone you should be able to feel some play when you grab the wheel at 12 and 6 O Clock and try to twist it side to side.
