I'm about sorted now, finally figured how to lock the trailer to the car. Bike has had a few runs and is still running so this ride will be my first proper ride out on it :| Have you rerouted your carb breathers up into the air box Slider? If you have do you think it is necessary for this run? this ...

O ring for Mixture Screw

Has anyone found a good source for this little basket. All the ones I have found so far are too thick. Even when I stretch one that is too small onto the mixture screw the thickness still means it does not fit in the carb properly. I suspect that this is causing the bike to run badly at small thrott...

Great report but I thought you said there were no rocks on the routes in the Peaks
Thats a great pic of the WR being pushed up hill, it really looks steep. Every time I take a photo on a steep hill it always makes it looks flat.

Did you send the valve with the barrel? I think they asked for it to be included when I enquired about a tune. I decided not to go for the tune as to be honest all I want now is the ******g thing to go and I really don't care how fast. :D Even if you have sent the valve it is worth asking if he has ...

Scrubs, are you are having the cylinder rebored? If so make sure that you check that the piston will clear the power valve. I've just been refitting the cylinder on mine after a 1.5mm rebore. Luckily I checked that the piston would miss the valve. Did a search on here and found that the usual practi...

Hi Slider, forgot to ask but I hope there's no rocks on the lanes we are going on. :o
Got the barrel and piston today, got the gaskets so it just might be possible if I can get some running in done first to be smoking that weekend. Trailers about finished.
Looking forward to it.

Nice pics and report the autumn leaves are stunning.
Even better as they cover up all the tricky bits on the trail and make it nice and slippy.
I've now been trail riding for a year and it just keeps getting better and better. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it Slider, some good photos as well, I just don't recognise that fat ****er on my bike :) I only took a couple of photos, each showing Slider in action repairing his puncture. Although they are a pain, being able to fix them roadside minimises that and we were soon on our way. h...
