Re: Skipping a beat on idle!
Mike's right. AR's do that on tickover and it's quite normal. As for the gear thing, they have different ECU maps according to gear so maybe it's the map changeover that causes the difference?

Re: I brought a stolen bike from a dealer
The problem is, if you know the bike is not legit, you can't just get shot of it as it may well be stolen goods (can't think of any other reason to tamper with numbers). If you knowingly sell stolen goods (even if you paid a fair price for it and have a receipt) you are committing a criminal offence...

76 octane? It won't like that - especially once you have tuned the motor with your intake mods, cylinder mods, skimming the head etc.

So you're now illegally riding a CRM instead then - and posting the evidence on YouTube too. Hmmm.

Re: how do i restrict my crm
Even restricted to 33BHP, the CRM is still illegal to ride on a restricted licence because of the power to weight ratio. It needs restricting to considerably less then 33bhp to be legal so if you get a document saying it is 33bhp, that will actually be proof that it is illegal :)

Re: CRM250 with clean carb but still won't start
I used to swear by TTS too - until I was recommended to try a semi-synthetic by a forum member who works for Castrol. Apparently, TTS is a fully synthetic that, like other fully synthetics, contains a higher proportion of esters. This means it gives protection for race tuned motors at high temperatu...

Re: Hi, newbie from Aust.
Welcome to the site. My AR came from down under :)
There is loads of stuff in the FAQ's area and the search facility on the site works pretty well now. I'm sure most of the info will be in there somewhere.

Re: Nearly done...
It's part number 44311-KAE-740 if that's of any help. You should be able to order one from a Honda dealer with that number.
http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/part ... 311KAE740/
I believe it is unique to CRM Mk2,3 and AR.

I've just got hold of a spare case saver to modify to allow a 15 tooth front to be fitted. Hopefully it won't need too much ground off it.

Re: Quick Question
You'll need a chain block dropper with a 50 tooth rear if you've still got the rear lower chain guide fitted. You could run 45 tooth on the rear on both sets of wheels and then use a 13 for off-road and a 15 for on-road on the front. Maybe you could have slightly different rears like a 44 for road, ...

There should be metal brackets mounted on the pinch bolts of the forks. The indicators mount on these.

Re: CRM250 with clean carb but still won't start
If you are using the autolube AND pre-mix, DON'T. Adding oil to the fuel causes it to run weaker and it will be far more prone to problems rather than less. If you are over-oiling it, that's a very likely cause of your plug issues and if it's running weak, something expensive could easily melt. Drai...
