Re: Head gasket
Thanks. I suppose the worst that could happen is one would loose compression or cooling fluid. At least that would be the case on a 4 stroke. Could such losses lead to seizing on a 2 stroke or any other problems?

Head gasket
I've been putting off removing the head on my CRM just to inspect the barrel and check piston size. In days of old it was possible to remove heads on motorbike engines and put them back on again without having to renew the head gasket. Can one do it on the CRM or is a new gasket required each time? ...

Overhauling Mk3 forks
I have searched FAQ but so far not been able to find an answer so would be grateful for advice. Which side up should the large steel washer (for want of a better word) which is situated above the oil seal be fitted? One face is machined flat and the other appears to be slightly bevelled. Unfortunate...

Re: Wiring Behind Headlight Pictures
I have a few photos of wiring behind head light of my Mk3 but am struggling to work out how to attach them to a reply. If having problems in FAQ it says to contact board administrator - who might that be? Thanks

Re: Mk3 main needle and jet
Thanks. I have checked the power valve servo and it seems to be working but not as smoothly as the You Tube video of the power valve. I will check the power valve itself.

Re: Mk3 main needle and jet
I have recently bought a Mk3 road legal bike and a "spares" Mk3 bike. So far I've only ridden the legal bike a few times, acceleration seemed poor with flat spots so I have just stripped carb and to my surprise found a 158 main jet, 50 pilot jet and needle clip in mid slot. I thought that I would ch...
