I would imagine that you can but don't know. You will certainly get a better throttle response but won't you lose some of the low down torquey mud rippling tractability that the CRM is famed for?
There again that might not be neccessary in NZ :wink:

If you filled it up so that oil just started coming out of the oil level 'hole' then you have filled it correctly. Don't rely on anything else. There will always be some oil left in the gearbox depending on how long you drained it, what temperature and how close to level you had the engine while it ...

There is stacks of oil in the frame even when the level swtich starts to indicate you are low on oil. I would think you have at least 300ml left in the frame and piping at this stage. (conservative estimate). Enough oil for at least two or three tankfulls of petrol if it is running a very strong pet...
