Re: Another jet-question...
Is the valve free by hand, and are the cables in good condition? At certain RPM and on over-run the action can appear jerky.

Re: Another jet-question...
I'd probably suggest a plug chop.
Re: No Spark
What I did when wiring my bike was use 2 or 3 pin waterproof plugs for the lights and kill and ignition switches. I also made (using the oppposite plugs) bypasses to carry in my spares. That way you can easily and quickly bypass the ignition or kill switch when out if you damaged one and lost a spar...
Re: No Spark
It's going to be a process of elimination. You could start behind the headlight checking all wires , plugs etc... bridge over the ignition switch and kill switch using a piece of wire or equivalent.

Re: Intermittant mis-fire
Well, trip to Leisure Trail... new rectifier/regulator. Tried this on the bike with my spare ECU, no joy, still forcing the powervalve shut!! I tried a known working spare servo, still no joy!! Last one was to try a spare capacitor..... still the same!! This narrowed it down to either the loom, or t...

Re: Electrics (behind the headlight)
You can buy electrical cleaner, or use an airline, or both. You can also get very tiny soft brushes in sometimes or something similar.

Re: Electric Start??
Haha you know what, I wrote something about being orange, then got distracted and thought you had put 'EC' which is Gas-Gas, didn't bother to re-read your post, and deleted my orange comment and then wrote the above!! Doh!!

Re: Electric Start??
Tempting, but...... wouldn't say Honda on it, neither would it have autolube!! Also the Gas-Gas's seem to have uncomfortable vibrations which I don't like (not sure if the have a balancer shaft) and dare I say the bikes or engines wouldn't last as long as a CRM.

Re: Electric Start??
I know you'd need battery room. My mate's fitting one to his Gas Gas, think you change the flywheel for one with gear teeth and it starts it that way. I don't mind kicking in normal use, but there have been several occasions where I've been off the bike and it's not been easy to get back on, or stal...
