Re: the problems with Leisure Trail
^^^^^^^^ what Eddie said, I've had nothing but exceptional service from LT including speaking to one of their mechanics on his own mobile on a sunday morning whilst he was at home.

Re: Results from Testing of Chinese ECUs so far
It would have been helpful if they were around a year or so ago. I bought 2 new AR ECUs from L Trail just to keep as spares in case I need them............and not cheap. I doubt that many CRM owners have the resources to buy two ECU's to 'keep in stock' - I know I don't  These look like a ver...

Could be the chain slapping on the underside of the swing arm, there should be a hard rubber roller under the swing arm...check it's there and in reasonable condition

Check the connector block from the ignition barrel, try wiggling wires whilst the engine is running

Re: no lights or blinkers working
Also, check the connector block from the control switches on the left handlebar - should be behind the headlight - lights etc could be working, but switch not connected or full of crud, or broken wires....possibly try swapping for another one if you have any mates with CRM's locally

Re: Newbie To AR or not AR
I have No4, I would have no hesitation in buying another off helisupp, they are refurbed to a very high standard, the bike starts, runs and looks like a new bike....in 2014 it's the nearest you can get to buying a brand new AR IMHO. If you do go have a look at one, don't tell him if you plan to take...

Go steady on the oil pump bleed screw, you'll strip the thread in a flash if you're not careful.

Re: 2 stroke oil - viewing tube + oil light+ overrun
I do a three day trail ride covering around 130-150 miles a day, my low oil warning light usually comes on part way through the last day, but still enough left to get me home.
