Hiya,

They look skinny from the pics but they are an 18x3.00 and a 17x2.15.

Any suggestions for some decent rubber...? Im also trying to convince my mate that he wants to machine up the parts for me :)

Steve,

I have been thinking about this.

From what I can remember one of the bearing sizes on the dog bone is different between mark1 and mark2.

Cant you cobble something together out of what you already have?

Steve,

Which part of the linkage are we talking about?

I do know that the dog bone from a mark1 will fit straight onto the mark2.

LT will be able to tell you for certain.

Andy, Read Ed's post again - he already said that he is pre-filling the output from the oil pump - the fuel only needs a drop of oil to lubricate for the first few seconds of startup until it moves from the pre-filled pipe into the engine. Running 30-1 premix as well as the correct output from the o...

Hiya,

I cant recommend a ratio as such, just make sure there is some in there - use some common sense :-)

Toad,

It was my pleasure mate.

Sorry but I cant help you to work out whether its a mark3 or not, LT would be able to tell you.

Sounds like you are getting there...

Hey,

When I rebuilt mine I simply bled to the fuel pump and put a small bit in with the fuel with no problem.

I wouldnt go sucking on pipes like that because they arent designed to operate in that manner and you could inadvertently damage a seal.

You will be ok with some in the fuel.

Colin, Is it worth trying another carb, just be sure? My mate has a working spare for a Mark1 and he only wants 15 or 20 quid for it. At least that way you will know for sure and it has to be cheaper than LT. At least this way you can be certain of whether that is part of the problem and we could th...

NSR wheels

Thanks.

The bloke that is selling them has two types - wheels of the 'gold alcast' type and ones from an older box frame model.

Any idea which ones will be the better fit?
