Standard gearing is 14/42 and they say buy a 118 link chain that you always have to shorten any way so I think 118 links will be fine

Bike passed :D then fouled a plug on the way home :cry: I had no tools with me and was in a bit of a bad area, so I pushed it 2k to a shop where I know the guy and he kept an eye on it until I got back with a fresh plug and tools, fired up first kick with the new plug :roll: anyway main thing is it ...

Just insured my Mk3 (£77.60 comp) so I will be taking it for its M.O.T and tax next week
only took a year and the tank and plastics still need doing, but at least I will be able to get out and ride the thing

the exhaust end can shouln't get too hot anyway on a two stroke, you can get aluminium foil in strips from a plumbing/gas supplier if you really want to use it and it is self adheasive (like sticky tape just peel of the backing)

Had it running before, smell of two stroke has spured me on a bit may have to leave the tank and plastics as they are for now and just get it back on the road

I am toying with the idea of selling my MK3, mainly due to the fact (like everyone else at the moment) the buisness has taken a hit and there is'nt as much free cash about as normal.it just needs plastics and the tank repainting really and then mot tax etc. so should I soldier on or sell :?: any off...

Mainly, got the front brake to put back on and bleed and I am awaiting slider pins and the like to put the back brake on its hanger, chain and rear sprocket, p,valve cables all of which should be at my happy honda dealers next week

Progress is s l oooo w but bit by bit it is getting there......
Main problems time and cash... like most peeps really
Oh and the new bits needed list is getting longer I want to get it back on the road soon as, so the plastics and paint (tank) may have to wait
