Water in the gearbox
I have trouble with my clutch sticking on. Its jammed solid at the moment, I think I'm going to have to dismantle it to free it off. I've owned the bike for 10 years and it has always done this if the bike is left for a couple of months. I changed the clutch and steels a year or so back and it cured...

Re: Wiring Diagram
Have a look on google. I rewired a loom using this one for reference and it seemed fairly accurate.

Re: Rear Light
I'm not sure, but I fitted a different rear mud guard to mine so I could fit a smaller LED light. I also ditched the indicators a along time ago. You will soon get fed up of replacing them when you drop the bike on a trail or they get caught by a swinging gate. You have to bide your time for parts f...

Re: I need to clean the carb what is the best way to get at
When I last took the carbon off my mk3, I just pulled it straight out. I didn't remove any other parts on the bike to do it. You probably can't twist it with out removing the oil tank, but it only takes 2 min to remove the whole carb , so why bother?

Re: Couple of questions.
How quickly do they start leaking again? I've had some cheaper seals which only last 12-18 months. I've gone for genuine Honda Seals this time to see if they last a little longer.
According to FAQ's the front calipers are all the same.

Re: Mk3 Loom Rebuild
The loom is just about finished. I'm just waiting for one more plug for the side stand switch to arrive. https://s28.postimg.org/epcnru365/DSC_0063_1.jpg free adult image hosting The total cost was £96.56 for each loom. I saved a little money by re-using the plastic terminal holders. It saved about ...

Re: Honda crf 250 foot pegs
No they will not fit as they are a different fitting. The CRM uses the same fitting as most of the XR's These are cheap and should be ok provided you are not in a hurry. Obviously all the other fancy pegs for XR's will also fit http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MX-WIDE-Footpeg-Foot-Pegs-for-Honda-CR80-XR25...

Re: Mk3 Loom Rebuild
All the parts should be coming today, so hopefully I should be able to get the loom together this week. Jim, what do you want to do about the side stand switch? Do you want the plug reinstated or permanently bypassed. I think If I keep the plug I can bypass the cutout and keep the side stand light o...

Re: Mk3 Loom Rebuild
Does anyone know what these terminal are called?
http://www.cycleterminal.com/honda-16-pin-icm.html
Cycle terminals call them ICM which I think is Ignition control module, so referring to the cdi rather than the terminal.

Re: Mk3 Loom Rebuild
Making a bit of progress with the loom. The plug that is cut off is for the side stand switch. I will have to find out if Jim wants to reinstate this or bypass it permanently. Someone has added a new Reg/Rec at some point. https://s12.postimg.org/ikzxrd1r1/DSC_0044_1.jpg upload pics Also the wiring ...
