Re: T.T.F.N.?
Hi all, so, I have left to sell, Magneto/ coil/ pick up ,complete, for a MK2, but it will fit a MK3 if you swap over the connector block [ I'm reliably informed], £59.00 delivered. Eddie, it looks like I'll have a front wheel, but it's currently got a crappy trail tyre on it, which is barely worth t...

Re: T.T.F.N.?
Sad to see you go Mike but I guess you will still be looking in. Mine is still waiting to be resurrected, just need more than 24 hours in a day and two weekend a week and it will be done. I am interested in a rear wheel, C02 and a kick start if the wheel is rot free and we can sort out reasonable p...

T.T.F.N.?
Well it looks like I'm jolly well off for now. I took the MK3 in for an MOT, and had an offer made on it that seemed rude to refuse. I have a shed load of spares that will initially get offered to the buyer, like, Wheels , fully built 2 backs, with trials tyres on, 3 fronts. 1 with a brand new Maxxi...

CR125 Forks are what you need. There should be a paragraph or two about this subject talked about previously.

Do you know anyone else who owns an AR?
You could swap your suspect unit on their bike and verify whether it's working or not.
PS. best not to test a known working CDI on your bike in case the reg/rec is blown.

Re: Oils
My inclination is there is an inherent weakness in the design of the bearing, it's location, and the load placed upon it. I think the bearing will suffer whatever brand, or viscosity of oil is used in the gearbox, but we'll see what service life people get who have never used ATF. My bike came to me ...

Re: Surging idle (video) (1992 MK2)
Well done for persevering and sorting out the bikes issues, you will be rewarded with it's fine performance. I used to run 14/45 combo on the sprockets, I found this the best compromise for road/off road use, the engine still has enough grunt on that gearing to lug through most anything, and doesn't...

I don't think I ever suffered another boil up once I fitted a fan, even on some very claggy going in the forest of Dean when we did an event in that area.

Have you sealed the brass oil inlet on the manifold?
Try a larger pilot jet, but carry the old jet with you,and a spare plug , just in case.

Re: I need to clean the carb what is the best way to get at
There should be some flexibility in the manifold rubber, and especially the air boot rubber.
The manifold rubber may well be perished and past it's best before date. They then usually start to split and allow unfiltered and un-metered air into the carb.
