the nuts and bolts will be coated so if you use a wire brush you will remove more coating and they will become dirty and rusty quicker. I have not seen it on anything but I will be using some to cover the rusty scratches from my last two crashes I will tell you how i get on with it, you will probably have to wait til I get chance though!

In Halfords you can buy aluminium colour high temperature paint for £5.99 a tin (you may need 2 tins) I am not sure if it is any good, might be worth a try. or paul told me that leisuretrail rechrome them for about £45. I never turn off my fuel and my bike always starts with 5 kicks. Dont ditch the bike whatever you do, its a CRM. Maybe your just going through a bad patch.
