ahh so that's what did it... if only there was a CRM expert in Hong KOng - even if briefly! :lol: i have rode the thing into mong kok a few times... ;) ;) ;) ;) an I do have a set of nylon pannier :D I only replaced crankseals what 8 months ago... new record? or crappy crankcase?

Seals can go both ways depending how bad and where the damage is. If the generator side seal goes you only generally notice this as the engine running lean as air is sucked in and unless the damage is bad it is only a small amount of intake and unburnt gases that come out, which you might not notic...

its chocalate brown - like a yorkie bar! does have a fair amount of gunk around it too.. like oil -

lack of power can also cause injury! bloody thing jus cut out as I was goin down a steep muddy slope today.. jus as I went to get on the gas - to get over a tree root - left me in no mans land basically... front slide out.. bike on top of me sort of.. I'd put a pic up but my inner thigh is practical...

Fishy, is the Athena gaskets set you used caused your engine oil leak........ :D hahah - actually that was the honda gasket.. think its my dab hand wit the oil can... breather tube into air box :oops: yeh the athena gasket kit has the lot! even some little copper ones,,,, think they were oil inspec...

athena was fine - no probs* - I even got a spare gasket ( think its base gasket - ) its for a different model tho how much tho? * - actually they did take a while to ship tho - remember had to prod em - cos heard nothing apart form suckin of the funds... search my recent posts - I saw complete gaske...

well I managed to get the head off in frame - an that was my first go... - u just have to take all stuff off.. rad - power valve servo - oil tank.. etc - suggest u take photo's! not too bad now - winter is 10 or 11 degrees summer ( may onwards ) lookin at 88 % humidity temperate ranges from 30 - 35 degrees.. an heavy showers not so many walkers in summer... havent really bumped into any on the trail - but it is possible - I see they have been there - by the dropped bottles ...

other bike is AR I made some paths my self - but those are what walkers have made.. unfortunatley he camera cocked up on the best bits - a great lane with berms - and a mountain switchback trail' thats not really dense undergrowth tho actually! dense trail an home made track starts at 1 min in https...
