Desert bash sat/sun 6/7th Nov (Mansfield)

Post by SteveCRM » 31 Oct 2004, 11:25

Next sat/sun 6/7th Nov there is gonna be an overnight bash at the desert, There will be loads of people there plus a burger van etc. I expect there will be fireworks too.

People are gonna start arriving on sat morning but I am not sure what time. Hopefully I will be there if I do go I will be arriving in the afternoon sometime.

The gates will be open on the main entrance to the desert and you should just be able to drive in and park up on the sand  .

It should be a good one, if anyone does come for the night bring some beers

I know of a few people taking 10tonne lorries up there so vehicle size aint a problem :D

More details to come.

Yeah, we will get out for a ride soon. this weekend was a blast, sorry i didnt post any better information, i forgot  .

I started riding yesterday at about 11:30 am on and off untill about 2am this morning. Have you ever tried riding along with about 6 others playing cat and mouse through a forest in the pitch black only being able to see where your light shines? It was so much fun. Slept in my MX gear and was ready to ride by 7am this morning :D . been riding most of the day, then on the way home I ended up riding round a MX track too :D .

C ya

erm  , far from it, still waiting for operations etc. my right ACL is completely ripped from the bone, I done that when i fell off on the ice with Roger. still waiting for a scope in my left knee to find the damage.

I can still ride my bike but just hope I dont put either of my feet down in the wrong place :o .

Nothing is going to keep me off of my bike for too long  .

Toms farm this weekend for a big bash and tons of riding :D .
