Hi Bushmuncher (Phil S) I'm new to the forum too.
Have a look at North Wales TRF which meet first Wed of the month at Buckley which is on the Fintshire Cheshire border. This is a good way of starting to go out on rides in the SJ map area. More details if you require.
I'm busy for the next 2 weekends and as usual cannot plan further ahead than that otherwise I might have been able to give you a start.

By the way, anyone reading this with half a clue, please check out the Bl**dy Two strokes post on the general page. I'm in bother.
Slider is now even more of a heroic name! lol
Bush Muncher could have cool dual meaning. Beginning to like it!

A ride along some of the lanes in North Wales is a definite posibility, it would also allow me a chance to see what these CRM's are really like.
I generally go riding at the weekend unless I have to cover work.
If I were to post a ride up in this section what sort of numbers usually turn up and what is the etiquet on the ride?
Bushmuncher hurry up and get your kit

Ok, i should have been a bit clearer on etiquet bit.
What I mean is what is the usual practice or, dare I say it, rules on a ride.
The basics that I have been taught which avoids conflict with landowners
Stick to the road/right of way unless it is absolutely impossible (eg.fallen tree)
Slow down or stop if necessary when coming across other users (eg. Horses)
Always shut gates (this is perhaps the bigest source of conflict with landowners who have to spend hours retreving their stock)
It's not a race (this does not mean riding like an old woman).
I hope all this does not sound anal as following these guideline in no way detracts from the fun it just avoids conflict.
If this does not sound too bad I will post a ride up in this section as soon as I know a date I can make.

sorry ed that sounds far too boring ..................
just kidding ,yeah usual rules apply(cant guarantee no farting though,i'm alright, but you have to be carefull with the likes of mickstoy in attendance )
i might be a bit stuck on attending as i'm on a 4 on 4off night rota, but chuck the dates in anyway and we'll see what happens.
i know its a bit short notice but if you can make it upto the peaks next saturday 25/8 then you can gladly come for a run out 8)
