beach ride
gidday all, yesterday ( sunday) nine of us went for the best ride i've ever been on. we left from our home town ( in queensland), through state forest ( all sand tracks), to kings bore near a place called double island point.from there we rode along the beach ( the beaches are wider than a four lane hiway), over double island point to rainbow beach. then back onto forestry tracks the long way home. all up we covered about 230 klms round trip. my mk2 handled the sand without any problems & was actually quite suited to it. the tracks were just awsome!!!!! just thought i'd share the experience.
