Looks a good place, but it seems more 4x4 orientated

after a bit of online research mate it seems cowm quarry is only suitable if you want to ride trails, ride a 2 stroke under 85cc, ride pit bikes, or drive 4x4's, the only place ive found that caters for all types of bike of any cc and even 4x4's all for free is shotton paper mill at deeside industrial estate but its about 45 mile away from me and im in stockport, theres a place in bacup that ive found but theres no name only directions, it cost £20 for the day but is more mx orientated.
hows about butts quarry thats in derbyshire and has a proper trail?
front brakes only slow you down anyway!!!!

I haven't been to one of their organized practice days, but our local TRF group has hired the whole venue for a day a few times and we've laid out our own hard, inter and easy courses for members to ride as they please.

They also open the place up in summer, usually on a Wednesday evening, for anyone who wants to go have a practice.

Not sure I'll be there this Sunday as I'm planning a ride on the N Yorks Moors on Saturday, but I know quite a lot of our TRF group are going.

Rich
