Yes, there is, but to the best of my knowledge, there is is only one Byway now in the whole of Somerset[ thanks SCC,CNUTS], but, there is a wealth of white roads and UCRs, to be safe, I would highly recommend you join your local TRF group, to be legally chaperoned around to begin with, tel, 01278662605, and ask for Fran, and enjoy what's left.
