got introduced to this place today - pretty cool - alot to explore - I didnt get as far as I might as it took nearly an hour to get there...

frankly this enduro type stuff in knackering!

anyways I managed to get a few videos - ( my camera mount was a bit screwy so not many were usable.. )

I would advise your mate to wear a helmet as well as his boots!!

-Some of those shots look like old military trenches (we have a few here in Nam)?? -Wouldn't fancy going headfirst into one of those!!

yes i was aghast as well!

honestly it was hot as hell doing this.

major sweat on.

it was hard as i didnt know the trails and didnt wanna launch self off a cliff.,

actualky were some stunning rides there.

will be back aftet the soreness breaks off!

Some of those drop-offs looked pretty dangerous. Take one of them too fast and you have to master a 20 foot drop- good luck with that then!! Either that or into a trench...

Know what you mean about heat- 2 of my crew collapsed with heat stroke last weekend (local lads too)- we had to carry them off into the shade and hose them down with water!! Its a bitch wearing full armour in 40 degrees, but I was glad when I went face first!! -Was pushing a bit too hard really and wasn't thinking too straight myself. I emptied my 4 ltr camel bag in 2 hours- bugger that I'm not carring more...

It was minus 10, or so the week before last here in the Surrey, the UK.I still have bloody chilblains on my toes from the last outing.

I'm foaming to go an explore some of the UK's green lanes..

think I've just convinced the missus to do a UK road trip in August - probably starting at Castle Donnington up to scotland,, ( folks live near east midlands airport )

no idea how to achieve this - I've read abit about the TRF ...... so maybe joining that might help.

apparently my Hong Kong License is valid - so should be able to get a bike - ( or 2 actually ) not sure whether we can hire or just purchase? then there's insurance.

yeah I was nervous going down the first 20 footer - but as there was a bit of a run off at the bottom didnt need to clamp on the brakes... just a bit of front and engine on the rear.. really exhilarating - at one point we went down about 5 flights of straight stairs - ran from a Pill box down the side of the hill - couldnt see the bottom from the top cos of bushes...

thing was on some of the steep climbs - had no idea what was on the top - popped up a few to have horrifying drops and sharp rights etc...

found the worst thing was following someone - cos sometimes he would get stuck and that would screw me up! ( experience eh?)

this place is off the beaten tracks. more likely to be eaten by a pack of feral dogs than a passing rambler...

shame about my camera - was mounted on helmet - but slipped - lots of footage of the handle bars and ground..
