Hi mate

I have done the Yorkshire Enduro a few years ago and found it quite hard, but, I am a steady rider and aim to finish not to win - I didn't do either when I entered :D

The CRM is more than capable, depends if your body is too. If its sloppy it will be energy sapping, if its dry it will still be hard but do-able.

I would recommend a Rally, Long Distance Trial or Hare & Hounds as an easier intro to competitions if you haven't done one before.

I've also done this but on a KTM 400. It can be a slog (as most enduros in Yorkshire / north east are). I'd do what Rich suggests and do some ralleys first or even a Hare & Hounds. Go for the sportsman class before trying the clubmen class

Have fun and don't be tempted to try to keep up with others - take it at your own pace. Just make sure you have geared the CRM down and have newish tyres as knobbly as you can get away with.

well i completed the course!!!!!!
pushed it a bit on the time trail and had an off which screwed things up a bit, then missed one check by 3 minuets due to getting stuck in 3 feet of slop! other than that it was great, realy enjoyed the event. i think mine was the only crm entered and it ran spot on all day.

You might have to paste the link in to your browser.

Have a look here, at 4 minutes in to the video there's a CRM - is it you?
