Typical rally, lots of mixed going, nothing difficult, great event and the CRM can and does win the trail class (rally bikes in a different class) and a top 15 overall is possible. It filled in 8 days so best look to 2012

Hi Tony,
Yeah a couple of CRM's Scarborough, ( Mk 3 & AR )only just got in though at last minute due to some late cancellations, i have your Northumberland sheep to thank for the entry though as we were up with the TRF weekend two weeks ago, riding with this fella from down South who presumably didnt know too much about sheep.

Anyway he guessed wrong and the sheep did just decide to go ! lol, and cross him resulting with a broken collarbone for him and a wrecked KTM, so with him and his partner dropping out we got in ! and he probably doesnt want see anymore sheep for a while !! so North Yorks not a good place to go !.

See you there.

Cheers Rob Smith

Here's last years results http://www.enduro-neec.org.uk/calender/ ... %20v1a.pdf

Look at the Trail class...won by Tony Whitehead AKA Mudfacetony on this very thread, with a few more CRM's thrown in for good measure.

I competed a few years ago, in 2007.

Mudfacetony competes most years and wins most years....unless he crashes and/or hurts himself ;)

I'll be watching the Sunday special test from a safe vantage point and will hopefully be taking a few photos of MFT flying past.

You should be on the thick of it. I'll try and put on a good show. Its back to the mk3 this year - the pink/purple thing. Rebuild engine (sump plug came out at the Terrenig and fook the gearbox), rebore etc so the bike is at full power and now has a DEP system and new rims, bring on the bling!

I think you need the O50's award which is an award within the trail class. He was not too far behind and did well, I think it is SMDC? who has posted on this thread. Well its the over 50's again as I'm now in that group, so where are you under 50's? get racing, its great fun and the CRM shows up all those orange things with folk in their 30's on them

Rob, good to hear from you - I think we will probably be setting off together (again). I think you have me to thank for your entry as the guy was following me on the Sunday (I had three with me Sat one of which sponsors YEC in some way - all spooky stuff all these links to folks) and he decided to drive at a sheep that ran in front of him and all on the tarmac - not guilty, honest gov!

I've just looked through and my mate I said about is not on there.... Then I remembered it was the Hafren Rally he did..... sorry!!

Good to see a few CRM's on there, I did the Dawn to Dusk 12 hour enduro last year and I think I was the only CRM there.

Thak will be No 208, MB who was 10th.

How did the CRM cope with the D2D? I've always opted for my enduro bike (KTM, now a Gasser) for enduro's/H&H events so as not to wreck the CRM

Yes MB... He told me he won the over 50s trail class?? 2009 was my first race and the CRM did alright apart from getting well stuck on a tough climb. Last year it went ace and i did pretty well.... Good service beforehand and some new tyres and she went a treat!!!

Hi Rich, did not see you today, did you make it? I was on my mk3 this weekend (pink / purple) and the poser gear. Post rebuild and rebore, it flew. I enen blew off a very fast 525 ktm and a guy on a wr250 who said he could not believe a CRM could blow him off on a straight (90mph on a fire road - fook!)
