Cambrian Rally 15th/ 16th October

Come on folks, entries for this event now open, you can enter on line.

This event is two days (you can do the Sunday only if you want) and part of the course is the Strat Florida. Great course, not a difficult event and great fun.

WRTA events also "seed" you in ability rather than class so you will theoretically ride with your mates if you wish or with riders of a similar ability, so no pressure of really fast riders over taking you.

Results ar out.

We had three CRM's entered, all Mk3's. Father and son David and Ton Griffiths and myself. David has a mk3 he got from the container company and is th only uk owner of a mint mk3, it makes my crms look like well used sheds.

Not a fantastic weekend for both of them as Tom got a finish but David failed to complete the last lap. Well done to Tom as it was his first event, 7th trail bike from 8 trail bike finishers (subject to a few enduro bikes classed as trail bikes and a few xr400's wrongly classed as sports bikes.

I managed to end the weekend top trail bike, 2nd on what was classed as day one and first on day two, I have some competition in the form of a young pup (well under 40) on a CCM 404 - less than one seond difference over 34 minuts of test time. 15th overall was not bad either.

Come on all of you, its 6 months to the next rally so get your bikes prepared and get some practie in!
