Tarmac sprint hill climb ?

In one of my slightly crazier moments I have thought it would be good to do a little sprint hill climbing (tarmac) on a crm with super moto wheels.

Has anyone given this a go before?
There seems to be some good events around to have a go at.

Regards

I haven't but fancy a go. I think someone on this site has in the past but it might be a few years back so they may no longer have a CRM. Try a search

If anyone wants to give tarmac hill climbs a go, then these guys seem to have the right idea.
Especially as you can get a day licence for £30 just to try it out.

Season starts in March

Think I will be having a go in 2014.

Cheers

Yeah, i go to spectate at one near me. Its an annual event.

Its a good crack, vintage, classic and modern bikes. Some of the vintage tackle flies up faster than the modern ones, an mega noisy!!

Got to practice keeping the front wheel down though 8-)

Like the idea of all this more and more......
I did a bit of racing years ago on sports bikes but my days of that are now perhaps behind me. So a CRM in Supermoto trim sounds good.

Spoken to the guys at NHCA and they are very helpful. You can even just have a one off go for £30ish for a day licence.
There are also some good videos on you tube if you search NHCA. Be careful though as NHCA also stands for New Hope Christian something or other. So my wife was looking at me strangely at one point !! :D

Season starts in March, so need to set up the Mk2. Currently its on 14/44 which is a hoot both on and off road. Yesterday the rear wheel was letting go in 3rd!. Well, I was being a little silly !! as you do.

Anyone got any thoughts on what set up may work best ? But the current one seems like a good starting point........
