Now is your chance to roll out the CRM and get a season of rallys in! The guys running the Big Bike Rally Challenge/UK Rally Challenge have agreed with the ACU to run the ACU All Terrain Rally Challenge 2013. There are two Trail classes, one above 250cc and and below 250cc (or should that be one above 250cc and the CRM class). In 2014 it goes to British Championship status.

ACU All Terrain Rally Challenge 2013

The Big Bike Rally Challenge is set to move on and become bigger in 2013 with ACU backing as a "Challenge" in 2013 and a full blown "Championship" in 2014.

At last we can have a British Rally Champion and hopefully be able to give riders more visibility for international events.

The number of classes for bikes has increased but we still have the "Big Bike" classes.

It has taken Moly and myself over a year to achieve this, and although the name doesn't roll off the tongue, it does work for the Forestry and helps us keep rallying motorcycles in the UK.

We look forward to a great season for 2013 and a big thank you to all of you that helped us in 2012.

The new classes for the ACU All Terrain Rally Challenge 2013 are:-

BIG BIKE MULTI - over 575cc multi-cylinder bikes
BIG BIKE SINGLE - over 575cc single bikes and over 450cc Rally Specs bikes with full fairing and able to carry over 18 litres of fuel

ERS3 - ENDURO RALLY - over 250 cc
ERS2 - ENDURO RALLY - 125cc - 249cc
ERS1 - ENDURO RALLY - up to 124cc

TRAIL RALLY - over 250cc
TRAIL RALLY - up to 249cc

(Bikes in the Rally Trail Class MUST be listed as Trail bikes by the Manufactures - otherwise they are in Enduro Rally Class)

Going to try for an entry in the Rydale in July, entries open 13th Feb. Looks like some good fun. Won't be pushing hard, just aiming to complete the 2 days. Come on, take your CRM for a dirty weekend ;)

that was me probably at 1 min 43 secs :D

I do have a bit of mud in "my" track - but must admit i been avoiding recently... ( no hose pipe at home.. and garages here refuse to let you wash motorbikes ( actually they refuse to let u do anything - but if you have a car they will wash it for you for a fee )

those road "restrictions" almost got him at one point..
