Kielder K2 Rally

K2 Rally tomorrow with me and 644Andy competing. Weather forecast is good and I've decided to do the event on the mk2. The Mk3 is almost back together but will need running in and this event is mostly fire road so the suspension on the mk2 should cope well. I just hope Andy is not a young pup from an MX background

:( Tims AT has suffered a significant front wheel impact. Some judicious blows with a nylon hammer might make it a bit more usable for tomorrows proceedings.
He thought a little of the nadgery going where the mud was axle deep was a bit of an ask for the bigger bikes, but has enjoyed it none the less.

Things have not gone as planned

Came off in the special and went very fast into the trees. Result - I've broken my hand so no day 2 for me

No, the main problem is that unless the main cast (that goes on tomorrow) is plastic, I won't be able to go on the shop floor and I will have to work from the office. My direct boss rides a bike and the UK supply chain director has a KDX and he broke his collar bone a couple of years ago when we were out down hill mountain biking.

As I'm one of the senior management team on site, the main thing is not to lose any time off work.

He finished the Say and I spoke to hi this morning but I only went back for the morning to check off the bikes to make sure they are in the right championship class so did not see the riders come back
