Cleaning your hands the cheapskate way
Cleaning your hands the cheapskate way
Hello,
A quick tip for those who dont want to spend money on Swarefga or run out of hand cleaner at the crucial moment - squeeze some fairy liquid into the palm of your hand together with some sugar, a bit of water and make a nice paste. Granulated works better than Castor but if you are really stuck you can use salt.

Bargos,
Always been a fairy liquid and washing powder man myself Has the added bonus of a really nice smell.AND it means that you dont leave greasy fingermarks on the salt / sugar bowl, which ive noticed never goes down well with the missus..............
Saying that. What does ever go down well regarding bikes with the missus?

I will avoid the salt because i normally cut my hands somewhere and fairy stings without help. easystart is good for stubborn grease but you have to be quick before it evaporates.
call me a wuss but I have taken to wearing the really thin white rubber gloves £6 for a box of 100 and you dont even have to wash your hands afterwoods .

I always wear porn gloves, 2 quid for 50 pairs of latex.
I dont care how gay they are, its easier than havin to scrub the cack off, an cheaper than washin powder
