Post by starbar » 22 Aug 2010, 19:09

My 1999 AR 250 was stolen from my garage in Erith, Kent in the early hours of Sunday morning 22/08/10. Reg T724 OCL the bike is purple/white.
Frame: MD321102070
Engine: MD3ZE1004940
I'm gutted, it took me ages to find a near mint one and then it's nicked after 3 weeks!

johnsull, I see looking back through the stolen listings your misfortune was exactly the same as mine.
FCKUNIG WNAKERS!
They just bent the garage door in half, I didn't realise just how flimsy and easy to get into metal garage doors are until this happened.
Anyone got any suggestions on the best type of garage door to fit as a replacement? I'm thinking the roller shutter type might be more secure.
If anyone's thinking of selling their AR I'm in the market for one. I'll be especially interested if you're trying to shift a near mint purple/white one with purple wheel rims.
