CRM mk2 stolen in Brighton

Post by roryntp » 17 Jan 2011, 19:49

Hi All,
I'm sad to say that my CRM has been stolen from the 'secure' underground parking underneath the flats where I live, it was stolen on Thursday (13th) or Friday (14th).

It's reg was H174HKL.
It was a white mk2 with a larger Acerbis tank with a couple of D&D graphics.
It had a DEP front pipe/Honda rear pipe.

If anyone could let me know if they see or hear of anything I would be eternally grateful because I had just sold the bike on eBay to help pay for my wedding this year.

Thanks.

Very sorry to hear about the theft, I hope you get it back. I'm in Brighton, I'll keep my eyes and ears open, and let you know if I hear or see anything.

Pmac.

HAS NOW BEEN RECOVERED!

bunch of kids had it hidden it their 'hideout' out the back of a local church. only damage was that they'd pulled some wires about.

:D Can we be in your lottery syndicate?, lucky fella.
Just to teach the local Herbert's to respect other peoples property, and satisfy their penchant for wires, get one of the little TIKES to hold the HT lead, whilst you kick it over, with out the plug in.

Given the amount of bikes that are stolen these days, when I find out that the culprits are "young scrotes" I find myself thinking, if only we could speak to these guys and get them involved and let them have a ride on a few bikes before they get to the stage where they just go out and nick one.

Or am I just being an old hippy

Groove on ;) We used to run a project quite locally for, Hhmme, ner,do wells, which was actually a bit of a slap in the face to all those well behaved Kids that didn't go mischief finding, however, bless them they would ride until it became difficult, then just throw the bike down, because it was"gay", or the bike broke, then they would just sit down beside it and wait for someone to come and sort it out, my patience bone was very soon broken.
The do-gooders were adamant it was a good use of money, I thought perhaps a dozen Birches would have equally as good an effect and be cheaper, but I'm old and crotchety.
