CRM & NSR wheels

Post by billyrobbo » 08 Nov 2005, 21:15

Bought my '91 CRM250 about a year ago with the intention of rebuilding it as a bit of a project.

I've read on the forum about NSR wheels and when I saw an ad for some I thought I'd give it a go. Ordered them on Monday and am waiting for them to arrive. Any tips on fitting would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Yes, NSR 125 wheels from an '89 bike. 'The Flute' has given me the spacer sizes and I will get them made up soon. I'll post my progress on the forum.

Thanks.

The bloke that is selling them has two types - wheels of the 'gold alcast' type and ones from an older box frame model.

Any idea which ones will be the better fit?

I think the older NSR 125's ran a 16\" front & 18\" rear, they were quite narrow also!
I think the newer wheels are 17\", it may be easier to find more modern rubber!
