rear wheel is from a cagiva 125[which can be fitted on a budget with just new bearings and 4 axle spacers + 6 10mmspacers for the brake disc]this leaves the wheel off to the left by 4mm,I was fussy and had 4mm taken off disc side which reduced spacers from 10mm to6mm + 4mm spacers for the sprocket.front wheel could of been a cagiva wheel also but it would need to be fitted backwards [the spokes point the wrong way]but I went for a cbr600 front same as[vfr4,cbr4] its the same style as the cagiva rear ,there are subtle differences but unnoticable once painted the same.I went for chrome powder coat.some nsr125 wheels are also the same style on the front+ there 320 discs line up better with a crm250/xr supermoto conversion bracket for the caliper.nsr125 wheel does take a 100x70 tire but its skinney rim does make it look to thin.the cbr one does take a 120x60 tire but only a110x60 will fit safely between the forklegs.only prob ,I had to fit a redrilled back to front fitted cagiva disc and space with washers the caliper by 4mm.this was fine for 4 months riding but I did get a custom made wavy disc made,a 320mm wide flat disc with centre holes for a cbr6 ,£100 all in from stealth discs.lines up perfect and no need to space caliper.only bodge is the inner bolt that holds your fork gaurd has to be removed + alittle piece of plastic because the disc bolts just rubs by a few mm's .your other two bolts should be enough to hold the guard, although I did use a jubilee clip and part of an electicians earth clip to create another bolt hole just a little higher on the guard ,I'm fussy like that. :)

Well done mate, one very nice looking machine. :D

Sound like you spent a lot of time and effort to get the wheels right. Very good job.

It'll look even better when you’ve had it off road and got it s**t up!!!!!

in my defence I took it to work last monday in the snow, wish I'd had the knobbly tires back on, although it did make for the most exciting 10mph ride I'd had in a long time.rse end was all over the show, if it wasn't for the fact that I'm 6'5'' and could use my legs like stabilisers I'd have been on the floor.anyway dont under estimate us roadusers, offroad you fall off on to soft mud and bogs, on the road you get to fall in the path of a articulated lorry or end up hugging a lamp post

dont go more than a 110 on the front you only have 120mm gap between fork legs you need a little clearance, to check I put two pieces of tape on the legs at there tightest point and they are still there with no marks.I have a 150 rear but there is 10mm gap left between tire and chain so I will fit a 160 next time, that should leave 5mm for slack, which shouldnt occour sideways as that would mean your chain is knackerd.ps you have to remove your standard chain guard an cut off the metal tab on your swing arm for better clearance.I have seen a metal chain guard on an xr 250/400[the same as crm]which bolts only onto the top two screws but I dont know where to buy one,I made one in about 10 mins from some white pvc angle, as used by window fitters, using a drill and a stanly knife.
