Guess what :o found more bits to do as its raining and the brother in law has gone away and the mrs is at work

carb heater pipes disconnected

re jetting may have been in vain as ive found the 2 stroke pipe from the pump to the carb is split :x

new pipe made and fitted but cant try it as the nasty DEP expansion chamber is on the floor and i dont pick the shiney replacement up off gary until tomorrow :cry:

exhaust to fit then plug chop time again bet the neighbours arnt going to be happy

Do you do plug chops with the bike on the stand?

I thought you had to do it whilst ridin. Guess it dont matter does it.

Sorry back off, with you sayin annoyin the neighbours - i thought you meant sittin there revvin its tits off :lol:

Thinkin about it, i dont think it would be accurate on the stand. The air flow is totally different whilst on the move

You have to do it on the road. Get as long a run at whatever throttle opening you are testing with the bike acceletating. Then turn off ignition and stop. Don't coast/slow down with the engine running if you can avoid it.

thats why it will annoy the neighbours my road is about a mile long and straight :lol:
