rear brake reservoir fits to the original mount ,but there is the small matter of the brake light switch mount ?(thanks for reminding me Knack ) Tank mounts are going to be fabricated off the top engine mount i think , as i dont think the tank shroud mounts onto the rad will be sufficiant . Where did you get the pressure switch for the brakes ?

The conversion is finished but the bike is not
I am going to replace the used panels with new ones to tidy the bike up

things are going well but the red panels all seem to be PINK been as Barbie has gone ,pinky is too obvious the hybrid must be PERKY as its pink and a bit of a pig lol

Guess what found more bits to do as its raining and the brother in law has gone away and the mrs is at work
carb heater pipes disconnected
re jetting may have been in vain as ive found the 2 stroke pipe from the pump to the carb is split
new pipe made and fitted but cant try it as the nasty DEP expansion chamber is on the floor and i dont pick the shiney replacement up off gary until tomorrow
exhaust to fit then plug chop time again bet the neighbours arnt going to be happy

I thought you had to do it whilst ridin. Guess it dont matter does it.

i always do plug chops on the road , dont no if it would work the same or not on the stand ?

Thinkin about it, i dont think it would be accurate on the stand. The air flow is totally different whilst on the move

You have to do it on the road. Get as long a run at whatever throttle opening you are testing with the bike acceletating. Then turn off ignition and stop. Don't coast/slow down with the engine running if you can avoid it.

thats why it will annoy the neighbours my road is about a mile long and straight
