Supermoto speedo

Post by twistednuts » 09 May 2011, 22:52

Finally got a working speedo for the first time :D The new worm thing works a treat. Only thing is im traveling at 140kmh in 5th gear... didnt realise my bike was so fast...

Guess all of you with 17" wheels have the same super fast bikes as me. Is there a rough speedo marker for the correct speed. I know LT to a conversion for kmh/mph, but couldnt see a 17" conversion sticker.

I have searched the site. Honest.

I passed one of them digital roadside speed signs on sunday, but i keep forgettin what the readin was. Think it was 80kmh equals 40mph.

I'll go past a few times next time im there an write it down 8-)

do you know anyone with a sat nav ? - I plan on using one, taping it somewhere and just seeing where the speedo is when I get to 30, 50, 70 etc on the sat nav as they are supposed to be quite accurate and marking it on the speedo with a yellow line ... when I get the XR rebuilt ..:o)
