Noticed i posted a message when i got mty 1st crm in 2004 about SM'ing it so on my 3rd now its been along time coming lol (divorce helped, no one to complain about me spending money on bikes
XR650 talon hubs excel rims 120/17 & 150/17 £250
XR400 rear wheel hub kit £45.............( front talon direct fit rear needs xr400 axle tube and spacers(same as crm))
Talon caliper bracket £30 (i think i paid 2nd hand)
Pirelli Diablos £145 pair
o ring chain 15/42 gearing £100 ish ( want to try 14/40 & 15/40 but running short of time as need it for IOM end of month so will mess with gearing later date.
so £570 so far or if using standard front disc minus bracket = £540 for wheels, tyres and chain + sprocketas not too bad.
Just need to get a 320mm front disc trying to get cheap but proberly get a talon one.
will put details of using talon xr650 hub elsewhere on this forum once tested as just getting tyres fitted.
