Because I have fitted a CR tank and seat I can fiddle with the seat height. Originally I had the seat height set about the same as an AR on both MK1s but have taken this down a bit (though as the other is on SM wheels it is already low). I plan to reshape the foam slightly on this bike to get better contact with the ground but mostly by taking width out. The original CRM seats are very wide and soft. The CR is narrower and firmer. It is also flatter and because of that, you can get further foward on the seat and make the bike turn much more easily.

It seems to me that 1cm less width ~ 1.5 cm of height with regards to getting your feet on the ground :? .

Finished :D .

Taken a further 2mm off the seat height at the back - ~10mm at the lowest - ~ 4mm at the front. Also ~ 10mm off width at bottom of tank/seat junction. New seat cover, sticker set and front mudguard. (Petrol cap is just resting, not screwed on  ).
