Managed to fix my rear caliper bracket , drilled out the seized pin and replaced the snapped off ally guide , thank you Andy for the back up bracket :)

It's good that you have managed to salvage your bracket. The one I sent you is pretty badly worn.

Well popped out to the garage this afternoon , spent a couple of hours out there & everything was coming together slowly , ended up messing around with the rear caliper a fair but but got everything back together went to adjust the rear wheel & its out of line , as you set the chain side snail adjuster to 20 the disk side was holding off so the snail was a few mm off so i think i'll try a small adjustment to the guide that i repaired but will do it another day . . . . . . . i left the garage before ratchets , spanners and bike parts started flying around !

Sounds like you should take a break and go back to it in the new year with a cool head mate ;)

Merry Christmas

How are you getting on?

Have you managed to sort the tear brake bracket out?

been busy over christmas bud and did something really silly when i first broke up & i should know better .
when i fitted my rear wheel it wouldn't line up as i stated above , i tried all sorts even remaking the repair on my bracket to no avail , i tried the one that you gave me but the spindle hole is at least 5mm if not 10 mm bigger than the original CRM spindle hole and its narrower ( i'll sort picks at some point ) so i tried to sort mine out & in a blind bit of stupidity which i should have known better i snapped my bracket trying to bend it ( you can't bend cast , this i know already Doh ! ) so i need yours more than ever , i'll get a spacer made that will widen it and also space the spindle hole but at the moment it's on hold , i think i need a little break from it & with the wife booking holidays , her booking concerts (slipknot & machine head), the CRM and christmas i've over spent
hope you had a good christmas & new year bud :)

Wonder whether this product would work or has been tried by anyone on this forum?

had a go with it & it wouldn't stick to the "pig iron" ally , ohhh well not sure if i couldn't get it hot enough of its just s**t cast stuff , had a feeling it wouldn't work .
on another note had an impromptu visit to leisure trail & picked up a set of wheel bearings & seals :)
i always have the bracket that Andrew sent to fall back on :)
