Re: crm250 from south in norway.
Welcome indeed!! I like your RG570! Its nice to see another 2-stroke enthusiast. I have a near stock looking RG500 but with a Stan Stephens Stage 3 tune. Excellent fun! You are a brave man with a road legal CR500 though. I wondered about also doing that but felt that a CRM250 would be much more practical!

Not as many hp as he claimed but almost 100hp at the rear wheel. Certainly much more than it was originally!

I've just watched the videos. Very nice! The CR500 does look very scary :-)

100 at rear wheel is nice.
he who built mine claimed 120 crank hp. i don`t know about that but it is fast... gonna test it against two gsxr600 this summer. hope i win :-)
there`s far to nearest dyno her so i have not tested mine... but i might this summer.
is your`s 500cc or 570cc?
cr500 is just fun ;-)

Re: crm250 from south in norway.
I kept mine at 500cc and stock looking so I can keep it on classic insurance. I've also not had mine of a dyno but I know of others that get about that with a similar level of tune.
I'm looking forward to hearing it 'crackle' again in the Spring. Its not bad when a 25-year old bike can still get the blood going!

Re: crm250 from south in norway.
I have to agree that 3 cylinder 2 strokes make the best 2 stroke noise (must be the 120 degree cranks). I have never ridden an H2 but my old Suzuki GT750 made a similar 'wail' and was much nicer sounding than the RG. However, it was very heavy and felt so horrible after I got used to the RG!
You must have a death wish to want an H2 as well as a CR500 :-) Mind you, I have come to the conclusion that the bikers in the Scandanavian countries are seem to be quite mad. It must be the long dark winters!! Fingers crossed for an early melt to the snow!
