Hello All
Steve here from London, biking for some 35 years. Road racing on and off since 1989 (RGV250), now too old, skint and talentless so thought I would get into enduro to still enjoy biking and 2 strokes.
Just purchased a MK1 that needs some TLC.

A lot of enduro/green lane types seem to be on the shorter side.
Im of the beanpole, more meat on a butchers pencil type. Probably why im so crap at it!

At least you can reach the floor, I tend to lean the bike at 45 degrees just to get on !

Yes, as Steve hinted at, answering the same question for the umpteenth time can become tedious. Help and answers is more forthcoming to those who make a nod towards self help.
And in answer to your upcoming questions, yes the CRM's can be lowered, usually by lengthening the dog bones of the linkage, but the geometry and woeful suspension suffer as a result, plenty of post on this in F.A.Q.
No, fitting another shock is not an easy option, and best avoided.

As you are short in leg the Mk1 is the best choice as it is the shortest as standard. As Mike has suggested you will probably find the suspension is very very soft both in damping and springing. If the previous owner has not serviced the suspension then that would be a good place to start and get you much better handling.
If not a rude question 'Are you of the rounder body shape or perfectly proportioned in minature?' If the former then I would really resist getting longer dog bones and try to shape the seat foam to lower the seat height. If the latter you are more of the type of build the CRM was designed to carry.
You need to check the preload on the shock as that can be wound up so tight the arse sticks high in the air.
There are things you can do in the FAQs Suspension posts. (dropping forks in the yokes etc...)
