New Member Alert - Nick from Iron & Rebels

Post by InRNick » 04 Jan 2019, 08:59

Whats happening guys,

My name is Nick Tennant and I own a small company called Iron & Rebels - kinda on the road at the moment as I am from South Africa but currently in Vietnam for the next few months. Collecting Bikes, cars, skateboards and Surfboards from the world over.

I am in a little pickle. So while in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) I bought a Honda CRM from a dude I met in my travels, bike bought unseen and it is rough but no where near as bad as expected considering the price of USD150. The bike came from a coastal town called Mui Ne roughly 4 hours away.

Now my biggest issue at the present moment is working out what year model it is. It would appear that the VIN had been tampered with for the licensing requirements locally so that seems a dead end but regardless these are the numbers I got off the frame: DDE-1022131

The front forks have epic amounts of rote (fortuitously surface roteing only but keen to swop them out for I believe CR125 units? Any thoughts and suggestions? I am also looking for the complete engine overall kit. and SM wheels.

Will try post photo's once I figure out the working relating to the how.

Other than numbers that seem to be linked to nothing I offer you some photo's of my new baby:

Any assistance would be rad.

Wow, thats a very cheap CRM! Its certainly got lots of "patina". I would guess its a MK2 but I'm certainly no expert. Welcome to the forum and good luck getting it sorted.
