Right where to start lol, just got my self a crm 250 1991 as my next winter project, bike look to be all there but last Person has gone to town on it ,an cut an blocked poo loads of pipes off which by my understanding is the 2 stroke pump system , I would very like to put it back to original as possible, first port of call

* pipe coming off cylinder head left side / where does it connect ? Ruth 3-4mm pipe
*on carburettor two pipe outlets under choke left side

Any help would be amazing, tried finding a repair manual but they are like gold

That's the carb heating system. If you're in the UK it has no use and most owners take them off.

Thanks for fast reply ,so am I right in thinking they are on the outside of the carb an can be unscrewed.
Next thing is where do the two outlets go from the oil pump?

The inlet to the oil pump connection is on the underside of the oil storage system is under the tank. The output pipe is connected to the oil input pipe just before the reed block. The 'oil storage system' has quite complicated pipe work if there is none of it present.

Re crankshaft - I would say not a chance. There are people who will recondition them. Speak to Leisure Trail and they will tell you more.

I doubt you will be able to find a new inlet rubber. LT might have one??? Any from Mk1, mk2 or Mk3 will fit. Ebay may have one or Rinkya??

Mk3 - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CRM250 ... OSwSv1fHKU~

Thanks for the link, an fast reply hopefully the inlet is sorted, next thing is when I removed the bodged inlet I can see it’s had new piston but noticed a big chip missing out the crankshaft there is no grinding wen its kicked over but it don’t look right think its gunner have to be split 😩, I’d post a pic but not sure how to

Are mk1/mk2/mk3 crankshafts all the same

My engine is MD24-120

Mk2 and 3 are the same the mk1 will fit but there is a difference in the connection at the drive end.
