Hello all from NZ

Post by $CENSLS1$ » 23 Dec 2006, 08:57

Hello everybody,
My name is Garry and I'm from Auckland, New Zealand.

I am looking at buying a CRM250 and thought I would join your wonderful forum and see what the pros and cons of the CRMs are.
What should I keep an eye out for and what problems can I expect to have if I get one?

Thanks for having me,
Gaz

Hiya $CENSLS1$. Welcome to a very informative and freindly forum :) .
CRM's are a great bike, just get the best you can, for the money you want to spend. As for tips and advice, it's all here on the forum(somewhere) .Have fun. Gwyn.

I gess the biggest tip would be \"Dont buy anything you have to spend more money on \",Make shure its complete and already how you want it .I see in some posts people buy budget crm,s and then have to sell a kidney
to get the parts to bring it upto scratch ,Mine cost me £1500 and i spent £300 on tyres, chain, sprockets.oils, breaks,,Had to stop and ride it instead. No more spending

Ok, well from what I can tell the bike has 3 spare sets of tyres, one road set and two for the dirt as well as the Intermediate tyres it has on it.
I'm hoping to ride it around on the road a bit, just from trail to trail sort of thing which are all quite close around here.

Just have to see if the dude is going to get back to me about his address details so I can go and have a look..Have to drive half way down the North Island to go and get it  so it better be worth it..But then again I'm going on the back of a Triumph Sprint RS 955i so it should be worth it reguardless :D
