Oil in the left-hand side cover (and leaking out) is a possible sign of a balancer shaft bearing problem.

Oil dripping from the frame under the tank into the same area is a sign of a minor problem with the oil level switch, but might make a good bargaining ploy.

evening steve from pot noodle land
if you already know about checking for play in wheel bearings, steering head, swingarm and linkage,c+s etc then as andy p says take a good look over the motor for oil leaks, make sure it sounds ok and give it a spin when its warm(the bike not the weather   ).you should be able to decide wether its a good un

cheers

Welcome Minty :) From Neath eh  As has been said Minty, make sure there are no oil leaks, and no nasty rattles and knocks from the motor, and no clouds of smoke out of the zorst :D

I would be very cautious about that bike if its the same one that the guy ( cant remember his name ) looking for a bike in the for sale section looked at. Plus its dirty in the pics, whats it hiding. someone who can't be bothered to clean his bike for the pics may mean they can't be bothered to look after it. Just my opinion on buying, that said the bike may be a minter under all that crud :) .
