hi everyone i need advice i have owned my bike for a year and has never let me down its been round an mx track which was hard work and lots of green laning through deep water and thick mud ,now the problem i have is it starts when cold and will run all day faultlessly but as soon as i turn it off it wont start again unless it is bumpstarted which obviously i need help with but is getting embarrasing i have regularly changed oil filters and plugs . and cleaned carb etc but to no avail i am thinking that possibly the rings are getting worn !! what do you think any advice will be great thanks

Ring wear is characterised by the symptoms you have described, it is however worthwhile, paying particular attention to the Pilot jet and circuit, in a carb clean, and if possible do a compression test, which should reach at least 120 psi,+

hi mike i will have a look at the pilot etc and do a compression test and see whats what thanks for the advice will post results
