Just bought my 1st CRM250

I wanted a second bike to ride in lesser weather as I've got a year 2000 ZX6R, thought it'd be fun to get something for some green laning at the same time. After hearing about the CRM from various sources I had to have one, I managed to pick one up from a local dealer at a good price and am eagerly waiting to pick it up on the 2nd of December (Christmas come early).
I've not been off road since I was 17 and that was 12 years ago so my 1st couple of times should be fun!
I'm in the Derby area so if anyone knows any good introduction rides around the area the info would be appreciated!
Thanks
Johnny

Hi WBM, welcome to the site, I'm sure we have some riding members in your neck of the woods, or a shortish van ride away,
If you have not kept up to date with the Byway scene, you may find yourself quickly in trouble, as a lot of lanes we wre formerly allowed to use, [ rupps ect] are now closed to us, and in the parks it's even worse.
I would recommend you protect your investment, by joining your local, very active TRF group, who are well up to speed on all the local [ legal ] lanes now left to use.
Enjoy your new bike.
Mike

Thanks Mike sounds like good adivice to me, I only ever went green laning once as a kid so I don't really know where to start. I do know that there should be a good amount to be done round here as there's a lot of countryside and in summer I regularly see people out on Huskeys, KTMs and other off-roaders all splattered with mud.
The last thing I want to do is end up on the wrong end of the law as we know that can end up, or an angry farmer with his blunderbus could be a shake up!

Well done on getting a CRM and wanting to get it dirty
Have a look at this site.
There are loads of rides in the Muddymonkey and Virtual Peaks TRF sections.
