Howdy from Laos!!

Hey everyone!!

I just wanted to finally post a note and say HI...been lurking around alot, gleaning priceless info for my beloved CRMs.

I am currently on my 11th CRM, and have 4 parked in my living room now. I am a true 2T die hard and not too fond of many 4Ts. I have an NSR150 Repsol and a poo MInsk here as well. Back in the barn, I have an 800cc H2R factory bike, a RGV400 Walter Wolf from Japan, and a couple of old Ducati 4Ts, which I make an exception for.

In the living room, there is the full gamut, nearly, of CRMs. I have an MK2, 2 MK3s, and an AR.

The MK3 has Pro Skills, V Force, Mugen rear shock, and I assume CR125 front forks. PLus alot of BS I added. It has about 60k KM now and is on it's 3rd top end, from me at least. It wqas bought in Japan and brought over to Laos via Thailand.

The AR has Pro Circuit, V Force, and some other random stuff. About 25k KM on this one.

The MK2 is bone stock and looks brand new with it's cool paint.

And my latest, another MK3, was picked up for 300$ as "it smokes alot and burns oil all the time, much more than my XR. And it has no electric cause the battery is probably dead" Uhh, yeah. They had just spent $1400 re doing the motor and were so sick of repair bills, they gave it away. But she aint purty like the others. Flo pink, and all.

It burns oil like a 2T should, and the "no power" was the sidestand kill, duh. And to think they owned this bike 2 years and never knew it was running on autolube. They seemed a bit pissed when I was riding it the next day and explained the basic idea of why the CRM burns oil and the XR does not.

Oh well

I'd like to post some pix, but how to do so? BB is turned off, I guess by mod's? Can I get an OK?

Going to Japan on 14 Aug to scrounge salvage and junk yards for spare electronics and buy some pipes. Any suggestions would be great as to where to go...

And just an FYI, I ride these bikes over 50k KM a year combined. I operate an adventure tour company here in Laos and lead all my guests by a trail of 2T smoke...just follow the haze! Never a glitch, never a bump, ultimate reliabe!

So, how to post the pix, I'd love to share my bikes. Much cooler than that guy Ben in Sydney... ;)
