new boy from devon

Post by d13dkt » 13 Jul 2012, 15:31

just thought i would say hello, i aquired a mk2 crm250 about 3 months ago, i swaped it for a rather sick wr400, i can honestly say that i came out on top as the crm has been exellent.
to give you a idea, i use the bike every sunday to go greenlaneing any where from 70 to 140 miles each time, and if anyone has ever doen any or the lanes in devon and cornwall they will know they can be a little brutal some times, as for me im 6"2 and around 18 stone and a reasonable ride.
i was a little wary of my large frame and a small bike, but its been bullet proof.
all in all a great bike.
look forward to havin a good look round the forum.
cheers
dave

Hi DDT, :D welcome, yes there are some stunning lanes in your area, [east Devon and South East Cornwall].MT43 Country ;) .
18 stone , you may well wish to source a heavier grade spring, and have a re-valve of the shock.
Use the search area for obvious maintenance items, more complicated issues will generally get a knowledgeable response from longer term owners.
